Japan-India Joint Working Group meeting has been held based on “Framework of Cooperation in the Roads and Road Transportation Sector”, signed in 2014, to promote cooperation between the two countries regarding road issues

The Japan-India Road Engineering Seminar has been held since 2024 in collaboration with the MMRDA. The seminar aims to foster future project development by facilitating information sharing between the government and private sectors of both countries on projects and technologies related to "Marine Road Construction and Maintenance.“
